CSSPS Selection Check: How to Verify Your Placement Status

The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) is the platform used by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to place Junior High School (JHS) graduates into Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical/Vocational Institutes. After selecting your preferred schools, you may need to check whether you have been successfully placed.

How to Check Your CSSPS Placement Status

  1. Online Check via CSSPS Portal
    • Visit the official CSSPS portal: https://login.csspsverify.com
    • Enter your Index Number and Placement PIN (purchased from an approved vendor).
    • Click on "Check Placement" to view your school assignment.
  2. SMS Check (Alternative Method)
    • On your mobile phone, type: CSSPS[space]INDEX NUMBER[space]YEAR Example: CSSPS 123456789012 2024
    • Send it to 1060 (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo).
    • You will receive an SMS with your placement details.
  3. School or District Education Office Check
    • Your former JHS for assistance.
    • The GES District Education Office in your area.
